Health Risk Appraisals
Health Risk Appraisals (HRAs) complement health screenings and other awareness programs. They allow you to reach a dispersed population and/or groups of individuals who are unable or unwilling to participate in onsite health screenings. HRAs address all major lifestyle factors, personal and family history, symptoms, functional health status and quality of life, health interests, readiness to change, and self-efficacy. Our follow-up includes extensive aggregate reports that summarize health trends and risk factors across the population being assessed. HRAs can be delivered to your population in any of the following ways:
- Onsite hard-copy version, in conjunction with a health fair
- Independently-completed hard-copy version, as a self-reported survey with the profile delivered by return mail or in person
- Web-based version, as a self-reported survey with an immediate or return mail profile
The wellness profile that is returned to each participant is confidential, personalized and tailored according to age, gender, level of risk, utilization of preventive services, available resources, and intent to change. This educational report is designed to help individuals evaluate their current lifestyle, identify health risks, and determine what improvements need to made and how to make those improvements.
